Shipping Policy
Thank you for visiting and shopping at www.scalpacupuncture.org. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.
Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
You should receive an email confirming your order shortly after you have placed it. If you don’t receive that email, please check your spam folder and see if you can locate it.
When your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipment notification and tracking information.
Shipping rates
Shipping and handling fees apply to all purchases. The exact price will depend on your location, the item you order, and the quantity of the order. Please note that shipping and handling fees to all transactions are NON-refundable.
I. Domestic United States
We ship nationwide via US Postal Service (USPS) Flat Rate Priority Mail across the 48 contiguous states, as well as Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. The transit time is 1-3 business days. Tracking and insurance up to $50 is included. To increase insurance coverage, please call our office before placing your order.

II. International
We ship most international packages via US Postal Service (USPS) Flat Rate International Priority Mail which provides tracking and insurance up to $200 at no additional charge. To increase insurance coverage, please call us before placing your order.
According to USPS, the typical transit time for most countries is 6 – 10 days. Additional time may be required for customs clearance and local delivery to your door.
International package may be subjected to additional fees and inspections, including custom clearance, duties and import tax. Any fees imposed are the responsibility of the recipient. Please check your country’s rules and regulations regarding the importation of acupuncture needles to ensure that Customs or other regulatory agencies will not detain your package. Some countries require special permits or other documentation for importation.

Important Notes:
- Signature is required to acknowledge receipt of shipment. If buyer requests no signature, he or she must accept the risk for lost or stolen packages.
- We do not take responsibility for the following situations:
- shipment undeliverable or delivered to wrong recipient due to incorrect address or missing information provided by buyer;
- shipment delayed, detained or refused entry by customs or other regulatory agencies (for international package)
- If a package is returned and received by us due to non-delivery, a refund will be issued after deducting the shipping and handling fee.
- We are not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged or lost, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
Return Policy
We strive to ensure that our customers are satisfied with all of our products. If you are not 100% satisfied and wish to return an item you have purchased, you may do so by contacting us within 30 days from the date you received it. No refund or return will be accepted after the 30 day period.
You need to have a receipt or proof of purchase. Once the item has reached us, it will take about 3 days for the refund to be processed. In most cases, we will issue the refund via the same method you made the purchase. Please allow an additional 7 days for the refund amount to show up on your payment account. Please note that shipping and handling charges are NON-refundable.
All purchases for books, DVDs, herbal supplements and online video courses are final. There will be no refunds for these items.
Needles can be returned contingent that their condition is acceptable at minimum. Needle boxes must not be visibly damaged in any way. The needles themselves must be intact within their original packaging, with no indication of openings, tears, or bents. In other words, needles must not show any signs of use. ZSA reserves the right to deny any return if the condition is poorer than acceptable.
You will be responsible for paying the shipping cost for returning your item.
You are also welcome to return an item in person. Our office address is 2254 North First Street in San Jose, CA. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 9am – 6pm. Please come with the item you are seeking to return along with proof of purchase.
ZSA is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
If you received an item that was incorrect or contains the wrong quantity or defective, please contact us within 7 days after receiving the item. We will replace defective items or offer a refund not exceeding the original purchase price.
